The series officially launched today; it spans the 36 states in Nigeria, beginning with the Lagos pilot series. The goal is simple: to show the world the grit, food, diversity, culture, innovation, and resilience of the Nigerian at home.
“The 36: Nigeria Unscripted Campaign” is a look at the history, the diversity, the culture, the people, the landmarks, the food, and the investment potential that make each of the 36 states tick.
Instead of focusing on the usual headlines, This Is Nigeria, through its pilot campaign, seeks to highlight the real people building businesses, building innovations, making scientific breakthroughs, and leading cultural shifts both at home and across the globe.

The Kick-Off
“The 36: Nigeria Unscripted” campaign kicks off with a pilot episode in Lagos. Over two weeks, the crew will film the vibrant bustle of Lagos. It’s a boots-on-the-ground approach to showing what Nigerian innovation looks like today.
This is Nigeria platform is also launching a Global Desk. A dedicated space to find, collaborate, and share stories of Nigerians living abroad who are exhibiting that signature Nigerian excellence.
